participation

Participatory work is at the heart of the Maltings and is flourishing.

We believe that creativity should be an integral part of people’s lives – not only as audience members but through the creation of their own art. We want to provide people with places to imagine, think and make and we believe that creativity will help ensure that our communities remain happy and safe places to live and grow.

We are working throughout Farnham, Waverley and the South East on a range of projects. We are always open to new ideas, quirky partnerships and helping marginal groups or communities.

Please contact our workshop coordinator Amy Collins at amy.collins@farnhammaltings.com for more information and to discuss ideas.

Workshops currently on offer at the Maltings include craft, circus, dance and theatre activities. There's something for all ages - young children, young people and adults.

Following the success of the Learning Revolution Festival in October, where more than 100 adults participated in a week of free taster workshops, the Maltings has introduced an assisted places scheme. Through this scheme low income aults may be eligible to participate in a course of workshops. For more information please email amy.collins@farnhammaltings.com
