Farnham Maltings supports new and emerging theatre companies from the South East by offering advice on touring, production and funding applications, investing money, time and space to develop ideas, commissioning research and development time and full production and by creating an international showcase for the regions best performance. We also produce a small number of our own works often in collaboration with others mainly for non theatre spaces.

We work with theatre makers, local authorities, community groups, youth and adult theatre groups, town councils, national and international organisations who share an enthusiasm for finding new ways and places for theatre to be presented across the region.

We are members of Trans Europe Halle and have recently twinned with Theatre Passé Murielle in Toronto and developed a partnership with the Prague Quadrennial to further develop an international network for the regions artists.
